Dr. Shepherd is thrilled to be part of The Nations Animal Hospital. After completing her undergraduate degree in Zoology at Michigan State University, she attended veterinary school at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She lives in Forest Hills with her husband, who is also veterinarian, their daughters, and three cats (Muffin, Custard, and Jello). Dr. Shepherd has a special interest in feline medicine, nutrition, and internal medicine.
